Package design
We were tasked with creating a unique, interesting and interactive package for legumes. I was especially drawn to dealing with a product that is not attractive, meant for a difficult and particular audience. As part of my process, I tried to get in touch with my inner child and figure what could get my attention as a 5 year-old.
What I came up with was the Veganoscope:
A series of kaleidoscopes for children aged 3-12, each an interactive container for legumes (250-600g)
Every Veganoscope is operated differently, with difficulty in accordance with its intended user age. For instance, the simplest Veganoscope (intended for ages 3-6) is the widest, easiest to grip and with the simplest mechanism. It also contains colorful, big lentils which are similar to chocolate candy, to appeal to young children.
This product, thanks to its shapes, colors and unique experience, turned the food from unlikeable among children to their favorite.
